2021 has come and gone. Time flew by over these past 12 months as the Twin Spires team managed to complete project after project while maintaining our website, a social media presence, and preparing for company growth in 2022. Take a look at our proud accomplishments from this past year.
29 Completed Remodels
This number ranges from whole home remodels to kitchen, bathroom, and basement remodels. Our team grew in creativity and skill as we were tested to make more custom pieces, design modern and unheard-of layouts, all while supporting the client through this building process. We are proud of the jobs completed, especially considering 2021 was a unique year for the housing market and the extreme rise in lumber prices. Every business owner knows how easy it is to put posting to social media on the backburner of tasks. Projects, finances, and other sudden twists and turns often take precedent over taking a picture and throwing it out to the world with a funny or relatable caption. By partnering with Wayne Media Group and being vigilant about showing off our completed remodel projects were able to grow our social media presence and, as a result, schedule more remodels for the upcoming year.
Tour of Homes 2021
This past August, Twin Spires Remodeling entered two homes into the Kentucky Tour of Homes. These projects were visited by hundreds and even highlighted in the Courier Journal. The Gladstone project, which included a first-floor remodel and full basement finish received the award for Best Basement Remodel. The Thrust project, which included a room addition and bath remodel, won the award for Best Owners Suite. It was a busy but exciting summer for the Twin Spires team.
Started a Podcast and a Blog
Amongst the busyness, we started a podcast and a blog. The podcast aired five episodes and three mini-episodes that share the story of what makes Twin Spires different than any other remodeling company. We also talk about our process and what to expect when working with us. In 2022, we hope to start the show back up and share some of the many adventures that took place over the last year. We created a blog in May and have posted over 15 blogs that also describe who we are and what we do, answering many of the frequently asked questions we receive.
If this is how 2021 turned out, we can’t wait to see what this next year has in store! There are a lot of big ideas brewing behind the scenes that we will share with you soon.
